Water Snorkling

The average temperature of a Florida's Ponce de Leon Spring is 72 degrees year round which makes it excellent for scuba diving, cave diving, and snorkeling. This Spring is fed through Florida's natural underground aquifer (a river that runs beneath Florida) dumping millions of gallons of water daily. The limestone rock filters the water making it crystal clear.

Snorkeling & Diving:

Florida is the center of scuba diving in the US. With so much water type and animal diversity in close proximity; and more dive shops and dive boats than anywhere else on the planet- Florida is the absolutely BEST and MOST convenient place to snorkel and dive! With this much volume and local competition, you the diver reaps the benefits of lowest prices and incredible values.

Snorkeling, diving and Florida create a hat trick of adventure. There is no other recreational activity that showcases the beauty of Florida’s, hidden treasures deep beneath the water! The Sunshine State has the best wreck diving in the world and has spectacular coral reefs. Many sites are accessible from the beach, but the best is just a short boat ride off shore.

South Florida Gulf Stream sweep so close to the shore which gives the area warm water all year with great visibility; therefore, offering best drift diving in the US!

And don’t forget THE FLORIDA KEYS! Unlock this underwater paradise with your own eyes. Here you’ll find the longest living reef in the western hemisphere, more than 500 wrecks to explore, the world’s first underwater hotel, more dive shops per square mile than anywhere else in the world, and crystal clear waters with visibility up to 120 feet! It’s no wonder that divers from all over the world come to the Florida Keys for their underwater adventures!

Snorkeling and diving is not only an ocean sport! Freshwater Spring diving is the unparalleled in Florida. Florida Springs flow the purest, clearest, and most fresh water in the world with underwater views that are absolutely breathtaking. Ponce De Leon once thought Florida Springs were the “fountain of youth” when he first discovered them- Take a dip and find out for yourself! There are over 600 freshwater springs throughout central and northern Florida. Some can be explored over 200 feet deep and over a mile underground. Others can barely be seen with their small flow of water. Some are deep in the woods and covered in dense forest. Others are Florida state parks that are visited by thousands of people per day.
