Boat Charters in  Marco Island, FL:

Boat Charters in Marco Island are AWESOME!  The Gulf of Mexico runs freely around this Island and as it meets freshwater flowing south out of the Everglades. The brackish water line changes depending on the flow from the north.

This interesting marine geography makes it is very easy to arrange a boat charter that is half backwater and half off-shore. Part of the day is spend on the bay’s and winding creeks and the rest is spent out in the Gulf of Mexico. That opportunity is not always practical in other ports in Florida.

King fish, mackerel, bonito, blue fish are, depending on the time of year and conditions, available offshore from Marco Island.

iOutdoor captains have the GPS coordinates for underwater rock piles and deep caves under ledges that make ideal habitat for grouper, snapper and other bottom fish.

Also, long runs offshore can be made from Marco to wrecks and reefs in much deeper water 20 or  more miles at sea.

Permit fishing off Marco with saltwater fly fishing equipment or spinning gear can be very good. The team of iOutdoor captains know when permit are in the mix and they understand the tricky art of stalking them.
