Ken is friendly, professional, and has multiple places to fish on Rodman (our two largest bass came from different locations on the lake). He is a good instructor and willingly shares his knowledge on how to fish (and most importantly catch fish) with wild shiners.Ken will be our guide of choice when we return to fish Rodman.”

“ Captain Chris Davy is a man doing what he loves, for sure. My daughter and son in law and I were fortunate to have seen this first hand with a dream trip on Rodman. Of course the fish have to cooperate. But when you have a guide that has the knowledge to increase your chances and enhance your experience through technique and placement more often than not, the outcome will be good. It was by far, the best fishing trip that I have had in my life. We caught 20 + fish with one or two being under two pounds. My son in law caught one 3 or so ounces shy of ten pounds. We had one that was 7.5 and two or three over 6 pounds. The highlight of the trip was two almost identical 5 and a half pound class class fish caught simultaneously. We hope to back and do this again.”

BEST FISHING SEASONS IN ST AUGUSTINE
Winter time in St Augustine brings different fishing conditions. The skies are clear, air is dry, sun is bright which makes for a great chance sightfishing inshore species including Redfish, Trout, Black Drum and Jack Crevalle. You can also catch Red Snapper and Kingfish offshore. This is also a fantastic month to explore Largemouth Bass fishing on the St John River.
Flats are bustling with action and inshore fishing is by far the best. Many species in St Augustine are biting especially Redfish and Black Drum in large schools. Offshore fishing is dominated by Tuna, Kingfish, Wahoo, and Red Snapper. Cash in on Trophy Largemouth Bass fishing during the spawn
The weather is changing and and the fishing is getting even better. Inshore fishing is dominated by spawning Sea Trout. Backwater canals and waters are filling up with Jack Crevalle and just offshore Cobia arrive. Red Snapper and Wahoo are also great catches offshore!
Offshore fishing in April is getting strong near St Augustine. Large numbers of Mahi are being caught. Weather is beautiful and the perfect month to catch fish here. Species including Cobia, Jack Crevalle, Marlin, Red Snapper, Gag Grouper and Sea Trout can be caught as well.
Warm weather brings exceptional fishing. Inshore Fishing is dominated into Jack Crevalle, Redfish, Sea Trout and more. You can also go offshore for Cobia, Blue Marlin, Red Snapper and Grouper on the Bottom.
June brings one of the BEST months to fish in St Augustine, FL. Explore offshore fishing for Blue Marlin, the best time to catch them. As well you can catch Cobia, Mahi-Mahi and bottom fish like Snapper and Grouper. Inshore fishing for Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Redfish and More can be caught.

Sailfish are close, just 25 miles offshore near the Gulf Stream. Inshore fishing is getting hot with catches and sight-fishing for Redfish and Trout.
Ther best species to catch during October in St Augustine, FL are: Barracuda, Kingfish, Red Snapper, Redfish, Gag Grouper, and Sea Trout. Inshore to Offshore, you can captialize on some excellent fishing.
Bass Fishing is getting hot when the weather cools. Go offshore fishing for Wahoo or bottom fish for Red Snapper along with excellent catches in Gag grouper. Go inshore for a strong bite from Sea Trout.
