Captain Brad Kayholm had the pleasure of fishing and exploring this amazing lagoon with Matt, Josh and Jennifer. They wanted to bring some fish to the boat as well as encounter all that it had to offer. Mosquito Lagoon Inshore Fishing was absolutely incredible with lots of action!
Matt, Josh and Jennifer adventured out on a quick 4 hour fishing trip. In a short time after leaving the boat ramp, they caught 20 Sea Trout. The action is hot and heavy and they had a lot of fun catching Trout on the Lagoon. One of the most exciting forms of fishing for Sea Trout is the early morning top water bite. Throw some top water baits at them while they are in schools and hold on for some fun action. Whether you like a popping cork or mini spook, they will aggressive feed on anything you throw their way.
After catching up their limit, they truly wanted to just sit back and relax while enjoying the views. When visiting Mosquito Lagoon, make sure you set some extra time aside to do a little nature tour. Captain Brad is highly knowledgeable of all the spots that are great for fishing and to see the nature you wish to experience. Manatees and Dolphins were swimming all around us. Jennifer really wanted to see a Manatee as it was on her bucket list. These delicate large aquatic creatures are absolutely incredible to experience up close!
Captain Brad is looking forward to exploring these waters again with Matt, Josh and Jennifer next time they are visiting Florida!
